Winter Pattern Trees Picture – White Frame
This picture is 18 x 18 cm and has a white wooden frame
The design of this image is created by using one of the many fantastic patterned papers I find myself collecting with the bright paper creating the body of the trees and a bold spray of oak leaves to fill the page . I had the paper for this design when I saw it with the Christmas wrapping paper in a local shop – I so love the contrast of navy with a beautiful snowflake design in white – this is reflected in the poem about snow
The poem at the bottom of the image is an extract from the poem “Snow”and is as follows :
Snow is not like a blanket -It is like itself
The clouds finding a temporary rest ,swapping their places of abode
The clouds another layer of hills and mountain
The dark grass a paradoxical reflection of sky
The green trees a mirror of the frozen wind
