Summer Small Leaves
This card is made of 240gm kraft brown paper and comes with a kraft brown envelope - it is 6 x 6 inches in size
The design on the front came about by accident when I ordered a new craft punch in this lovely smaller size of oak and beech leaf ! The design is combined with some bright daisies and mimics the swirling and meandering paths of leaves
The poem printed on the back of the card is as follows:
The faded bluebells of late spring
And the lollipops of dandelion seeds
Give way
To every colour of green available
The birds shrieking
Songbirding
The exalted days
Of nest making
And parenting
The blackbirds guarded warning
Mixed with songs of love
Bringing forth new life
As sure as the trees
Are filled with summers light and warmth
