Summer Pattern Trees Picture– White Frame
This picture is 18 x 18 cm and has a white frame
The design of this image is created by using one of the many fantastic patterned papers I find myself collecting with the bright paper creating the body of the trees and a bold spray of oak leaves to fill the page . I had the paper for this design for a long time just waiting for the right time to use it – I so loved the blue birds on craft brown paper I wanted to find a use for it and here it is in the body of the trees to express the “birds sondbirding the exalted days”
The poem at the bottom of the image is an extract from the poem Summer Song and is as follows :
The birds songbirding the exalted days of nest making and parenting
The blackbirds guarded warning mixed with songs of love
Bringing forth new life as sure as the trees
Are filled with summers light and warmth
