Pack of 4 Cards – Christmas 2
The cards are made of 240gm kraft brown paper and come with a kraft brown envelope - they are 6 x 6 inches in size
The designs on the front are patterns small and large Christmas trees and stars made from blue and white wrapping paper with shiny stars and baubles to adorn them - the colours reflect the snow described in the poem
The poem printed on the back of the card is as follows:
I always thought - a blanket
Such a bland description
Snow is not like a blanket
It is like itself
The clouds finding a temporary rest
Swapping their places of abode
So that as I look
Land, cloud, mountain , sheep
Are all moulded together
The clouds another layer
Of hills and mountain
The stars swapping with icy water
The dark grass
A paradoxical reflection of sky
The green trees
A mirror of the frozen wind
The houses as fairytale and strange
As castles up a beanstalk
